Chrisean Rock’s jump into professional boxing is officially locked in.
The rapper and reality TV star will make her debut on April 25th, squaring off against wrestler and slap-fighting prospect Zenith Zion in a three-round bout.
The fight will be staged at Harrah’s Philadelphia Casino in Chester, Pennsylvania, and streamed as a pay-per-view event on Triller TV under the XRumble Fighting Championships banner. Organiser Damon Feldman revealed that Zion was picked from a pool of 5,824 women who applied for the chance to face Rock, adding extra buzz to the matchup.
Zion has championship experience from her time holding the AWA Women’s Television title and has made it clear she plans to bring heat on fight night. Rock’s move toward boxing gained traction after her viral altercation in Compton last December, which pushed her to chase the sport seriously.
