CIBC Caribbean officially introduced Annique Dawkins, the recently appointed head of country for Jamaica, to corporate clients during the Business Banking Mix & Mingle: Jazz on the Rooftop event, hosted at CRU Bar in St Andrew.

The upscale event marked Dawkins’ first official client engagement with a cross-section of business banking clients from Kingston and St Catherine, as well as corporate partners and special guests. Fostering a time of networking, conversation and live music, the corporate mingle served as both a celebration and a platform to spotlight Dawkins, who previously served as the head of Corporate Banking at CIBC Caribbean.

In her previous role, Dawkins successfully led strategic client partnerships, guided large corporate portfolios, and worked closely with institutional clients across multiple sectors. Her elevation to the post of “head of country – Jamaica” represents a continuation of her strong client-centric leadership style and deep understanding of Jamaica’s dynamic business landscape.

Delivering the opening remarks and officially introducing Dawkins, Director of Personal and Business Banking – CIBC Caribbean Owen Francis underscored the bank’s commitment to empowering clients through responsive, innovative financial support.

In welcoming the new head of country, Francis described Dawkins as a “dynamic and value-driven leader who is deeply committed to our business community”.

For her part, Dawkins thanked clients for their continued trust and reaffirmed the bank’s pledge to support businesses at every stage—from starting and growing to managing and sustaining operations.

“This evening is about recognising you, our dynamic partners, and reinforcing that wherever you are in your journey, CIBC Caribbean is here to support you,” she said.
