CIBC Caribbean marks rebrand with BDS$425K donation to two worthy projects

CIBC Caribbean awarded BDS$425,000 to two worthy projects as part of the rebranding celebration.

Through the bank’s charity arm, the FirstCaribbean International ComTrust Foundation, CIBC Caribbean bestowed BDS$175,000 to the Barbados Defence Force’s Field Hospital, for the procurement of a generator.

A second donation of BDS$250,000 was made to the Caribbean Science Foundation, to support various initiatives, including the Student Programme for Innovation in Science and Engineering (SPISE), Caribbean STEM Olympiads, Barbados Junior Robotics Camps, and the Caribbean Computer Coding Workshops

The donations took place during the rebranding celebration at CIBC Caribbean’s headquarters on Tuesday, January 30, in St.Michael, Barbados
