In-person banking restricted to Liguanea branch in St Andrew

CIBC FirstCaribbean has expressed disappointment that its employees in Jamaica have opted to take industrial action, resulting in a restriction of banking services to our clients.

“While it is not our practice to discuss employee-related matters in the public domain, we assure all stakeholders that we are working diligently to bring this matter to a speedy resolution,” CIBC FirstCaribbean said in a statement issued today.

In the interim, the bank said “we will be providing in-person banking services to our clients from the Liguanea branch only, which will be offering limited services that cannot be done via Online and Mobile Banking or at the ABM”.

The Liguanea branch will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Clients can find a full list of ABMs on its website at https://www.cibcfcib.com/locations/jamaica.
