Citi Latin America received the top spot in Euromoney’s Trade Finance Survey, which recognises the leading providers of trade finance products and services. Citi ranked number one as Market Leader for Trade Finance and Best Service for Trade Finance in Latin America.

“For three years in a row, clients have ranked Citi number one in Trade Finance in Latin America, which is a prestigious honour because client partnerships are pivotal to our success,” said Steve Donovan, Citi Latin America Treasury and Trade Solutions Head.

“Our business continues to expand our trade digitisation capabilities in the region and make investments in our services and solutions. This recognition is validation that our teams are listening, and we have the capabilities to innovate, execute and deliver on our clients’ needs.”

Euromoney surveyed more than 10,000 consumers of trade-finance services to rank and assess their top providers. The survey is designed to provide information on the global trade finance market and the opportunity to rank trade finance providers across a selection of categories as rated by their clients.

Citi continues to expand its digital tools in the region to make transaction processing efficient and quicker, such as electronic signatures for trade. Most recently, Citi became the first bank to offer digital trade loans from end-to-end, a capability that was first launched in Latin America.

“From opening an account, to delivering insights to help drive executive decisions, we want our clients to have the end-to-end digital experience they need to support their growth ambitions.”
