It was refined, it was elegant and it was a virtuoso performance at the University of the West Indies Chapel as the Renaissance String Quartet performed before a packed audience last night. It was a case of high art coming to town and demonstrating that classical music incorporating local elements can attract Jamaicans.
Proceeds of last night’s concert will aid the Holy Trinity Cathedral, 180 Degree Foundation and the ICHS Symphony Orchestra.
