A total of 17,712 electors were added to the national voters’ list published on December 20. This brings the total number of registered electors to 2,091,622.

Electors added to the December 20, 2025, voters’ list may collect their new Voter ID card by mid-January at the Electoral Office of Jamaica (EOJ) office in the constituency where they are registered.

The Voters’ List is published twice per year—May 31 and November 30. However, due to the impact of Hurricane Melissa on Tuesday, October 28, the publication of the November 30, 2025, list was delayed by three weeks.

Registered electors whose Voter ID card was lost or damaged during the hurricane can request a replacement ID card free of cost at their EOJ constituency office.

Persons who successfully register between October 1, 2025 and March 31, 2026, will be added to the May 31, 2026, voters’ list.

For further information, electors may contact the EOJ at (876) 922-0425-9 or toll-free 888-991-VOTE (8683).
