Business process outsourcing outfit, Concentrix Corporation, which considers itself a leading global provider of customer experience (CX) solutions and technology, announced today (May 31) that it would be seeking to fill more than 1,000 vacancies in Jamaica over the next six months.

In a release, Concentrix noted that it has acquired several new clients and experienced successful growth since opening in Jamaica in 2017.

Now, it is announcing a major expansion for its sites located in Montego Bay, St James and the island’s capital, Kingston.

Concentrix said it chose to invest in Jamaica as it was a strategic country in Latin America and the Caribbean with a market that offers great potential.

“With trained talent, culture, and an excellent level of education, Jamaica is a destination highly valued by our current and potential clients. By growing Jamaica in our portfolio, we have expanded our services and offered new options to
our clients, in addition to being able to offer hundreds of job opportunities for the local market”, said Jeanne-Marie Dillon Barrett, associate director, service delivery at Concentrix Jamaica.

Concentrix, which said its company culture is predicated on a fanatical focus on its staff, quickly moved the majority of its staff to work-from-home to protect them at the beginning of the pandemic.

The company said its top priority has always been and remains the health and safety of its staff and, for this reason, it was taking strict measures for staff members who need to visit its sites.

These include the management of social distancing in every common area of its sites and in seating arrangements on floor, temperature screening and COVID-19 symptom checks at entry points, deep cleaning of all facilities and much more.

Concentrix was recently recognised with awards for Best Global Culture (10th out of 50), and Best Company Outlook (30th out of 50) – as well as team awards for Best HR Teams (1st out of 50), Best Operations Teams (5th out of 50), Best Marketing Teams (11th out of 50), and Best Sales Teams (24th out of 50) – as part of Comparably’s 2021 Q1 Awards.

Concentrix said these honours, which are a direct result of global staff feedback, once again cement the company’s status as a customer experience (CX) services and technologies employer of choice. Nominations and rankings for Comparably’s awards are awarded based on anonymous ratings provided by current employees and reflect how its staff feel about people-first culture; dedication to creating a dynamic, inclusive workplace for all; and the quality of careers they help staff grow.
