Condolences have been pouring in for sixteen-year-old Zidane Thomas who died in a road crash in St Ann earlier this week.

 Thomas of Higgin Town, St. Ann died from injuries he sustained in a motor vehicle collision along Higgin Town Road in the parish.

“I am saddened by this news of my past student ‘s death! May God grant peace at this time,” said a teacher attached to the Brown’s Town community college.

“Rest well Jay, this one hit me real hard bro,” added another.

Reports from the Cave Valley Police are that about3:30 p.m., a Toyota Townace motor vehicle was travelling along the mentioned roadway; Thomas was travelling in the opposite direction on a bicycle.

Thomas was reportedly trying to negotiate a right turn when the bicycle collided with the Toyota Townace. Thomas was thrown from the bicycle and received head injuries.

He was assisted to the hospital where he died while being treated.
