There was connectivity and camaraderie at the Flow booth at Reggae Sumfest on Saturday, July 22, as the communications and entertainment provider played host to patrons and customers at Jamaica’s largest music festival at Catherine Hall in Montego Bay, St James, on the weekend.

As the official technology partner for Reggae Sumfest, Flow not only used its fibre network to power the festival but leveraged the opportunity to strengthen its relationships with customers and show patrons alike.

Flow’s two-tiered booth offered a great vantage point to the main stage and was one of the hotspots for networking, as well as a literal ‘hot spot’ as Flow offered free Wi-Fi access to its guests.

On the lower deck of the booth, festival patrons were offered gifts, access to games and Flow’s dynamic photo wall, while Government officials and the company’s corporate partners across the private sector and hospitality industry were hosted on the upper deck by its C&W Business brand.

A surprise treat for patrons on Saturday night was the fan interaction with dancehall star Teejay, who made an appearance in the booth to take photos and engage with Flow customers.  This was well received and underscored the company’s commitment to delivering a memorable Sumfest experience.

“Reggae Sumfest provided a great opportunity for us to demonstrate our unwavering support of our music culture and also to strengthen the connections with our customers through a mutual passion for our music,” said Latoy Lawrence, acting marketing director.

“We are music lovers too, and the technology we provided as well as the elements of our booth all came together to enhance the festival experience,” she added.

Along with feting patrons and customers at the festival, Flow provided essential Internet connectivity for the Downsound Entertainment team which produced Jamaica’s largest music festival. Through the partnership, Flow helped to optimise operations with its fibre-fast network, powering areas such as the ticket booth, the bar, the media centre and the live stream.
