Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ) is advising the general public that select tax offices will continue to offer month-end Saturday services in February 2026, making it easier for taxpayers to conduct their transactions.

This Saturday (February 28), the following locations will be open from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm:

  • St. Andrew (Constant Spring)
  • Lucea
  • Falmouth
  • Montego Bay (FCJ Building at 11-12 Almond Way)
  • Mandeville
  • MayPen
  • MorantBay
  • St. Ann’s Bay
  • Savanna-La- Mar

TAJ further disclosed that the Portmore Tax Office will maintain its regular weekly Saturday operations and will operate between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm. Services available on Saturdays include motor vehicle transactions, including electronic motor vehicle registration, driver’s licence renewals, property tax payments, TRN applications, as well as all tax and fee payments.

However, compliance and audit services will not be offered on Saturdays. TAJ also reminds customers that several of its services are accessible online without visiting a tax office.

These include payment of fitness fees, traffic tickets, property tax and renewal of private motor vehicle registration. Taxpayers are encouraged to take advantage of the extended Saturday openings to reduce weekday month-end congestion and enjoy improved access to services.
