This Sunday, May 3, Plantation Cove comes alive as Conu’co Market at the Cove returns for a spectacular staging themed A Market Made for Mom. 

From 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, families from across the island are invited to a premium, open-air cultural experience that celebrates the best of Jamaican creativity, food, and entertainment.

Designed as a family day, Conu’co Market offers a curated escape where modern commerce meets traditional island charm against the backdrop of the Caribbean Sea. With free admission for the public, the event provides a lifestyle experience accessible to everyone.

A Day of Discovery and Style The May 3 staging features a targeted footprint of over 100 local artisans, offering a diverse range of hand-crafted designs, home décor, and wellness products; the perfect opportunity to find a one-of-a-kind gift for Mother’s Day.

The afternoon will be highlighted by the signature designer showcase Fashion Walk, highlighting collections from homegrown designers on a vibrant outdoor runway. For those seeking tranquillity, the  Garden Trail offers a lush path through island flora perfect for a peaceful stroll with Mom. Whilst our Kiddie’s Village will feature activities and rides for the young and young at heart.

Gastronomy  Food lovers can explore the Food District, featuring over 25 vendors serving everything from traditional Jamaican delicacies to contemporary gourmet treats. Complementing the cooked offerings is a fresh Farmers Market, allowing patrons to take home the best of our seasonal produce.

Literary Exchange Intellectual engagement takes centre stage in the JMMB Literary Lounge. As our dedicated financial literacy partner, JMMB hosts this space as a hub for readers and writers, featuring book swops, discussions, and a quiet retreat for literature enthusiasts.

 Live Music As the sun begins to set, the energy shifts to the main stage for the Coveside Concerts Live Band Hour, presented in partnership with Reggae Sumfest. This staging focuses on the next generation of Jamaican musical excellence, featuring high-energy performances by several of the island’s top high school bands. It is a celebration of Jamaican music genres, supported by the world’s premier reggae festival brand.
