A 31-year-old policeman has been arrested over the shooting death of Jamaica Defence Force soldier, Private Ejay Domville in West Kingston in August.
The officer was arrested in a targeted operation that was approved by Commissioner of Police Kevin Blake.
The police officer was arrested without incident.
The police said that other suspects are being pursued.
Domville was shot and killed on Friday, August 23, at about 1:25 am along Charles Street and Chestnut Lane, Kingston 14.
His killing was initially reported to have occurred during a shootout with gunmen.
