
Scotia Group Jamaica is advising of the appointment of James McPhedran to the boards of directors of Scotia Group Jamaica Limited and The Bank of Nova Scotia Jamaica Limited.
The appointment took effect last Wednesday (June 8).
McPhedran is a performance-oriented executive with wide ranging experience spanning over 30 years in financial services.
He is a senior advisor at McKinsey and Company with focus on customer experience, retail banking and wealth nanagement engagements in North America, Europe and Australia.
The Scotia Group Jamaica board is also advising of the resignation of Leslie Reid from the Board, effective June.
Appointments at Paramount Trading (Jamaica)

Paramount Trading (Jamaica) Limited has advised that it has on-boarded a new chief digital strategist- chief financial officer.
She is Dr Jacqueline Leckie-Johnson, who will lead the company into its digital transformation. Her appointment takes effect July 1, 2022.
Leckie-Johnson replaces Junior Levine, who recently resigned.
In addition, Paramount Trading has also on-boarded Jodiann Buckner-Nattoo as a plant manager. This move will further support the company’s strategic direction of delivering on the five-year plan, which anchored its growth from manufacturing.

Regional gaming giant Supreme Ventures Limited has advised of the appointment of Delroy Anderson as chief innovation officer for Supreme Ventures Fintech Limited, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary.
His appointment became effective on June 1, 2022.
New HR head at WISYNCO

Jamaican distribution giant WISYNCO Group Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Kisha-Ann Brown to the position of head of human resources.
Her appointment takes effect on June 14.
