Stephen Dear becomes new independent executive director at CPJ

Stephen Dear,

Caribbean Producers Jamaica (CPJ) Board of Directors has approved the appointment of Stephen Dear as an Independent Executive Director, effective May 9, 2023.

Dear, a Justice of the Peace, also replaces Ron Schrager as the Chair of CPJ’s Audit Committee. In the meantime, the board has thanked Schrager, who will continue to serve the committee and board after the many years of service.

CPJ has welcomed Dear to the Board and Chair of the Audit Committee. He is a highly skilled professional with a diverse range of abilities. His special skills include leadership, prototype development, problem analysis, long-term profitability strategizing, and risk management, among others. 

Dear was educated in Spain and in Canada, with degrees in Accounting & Finance. Stephen has more than 25 years of experience, working in the Finance and Banking sectors in Jamaica. He has also worked at Price Waterhouse Coopers (PWC).

He is actively involved in various affiliations and community engagements. He also has a keen interest in squash, sailing, tennis, swimming, and other recreational pursuits.

Massy Holdings wishes to advise that its Board of Directors approved the appointment of James McLetchie as an Executive Director, effective August 15, 2023. 

Two new independent directors at ISP Finance

The Board of Directors of ISP Finance Services Limited has announced the appointment of Damian J. Duncan and David A. Lee as Independent Directors. Their appointment took effect May 17, 2023.
