
EduFocal announces senior management appointment

EduFocal Limited has announced the appointment of Mark Green to the role of Chief Operations Officer (COO).
The appointment took effect on April 24, 2023. Green will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer, Gordon Swaby. Edufocal says Green brings a wealth of leadership experience from reputable organizations, such as Cable & Wireless Communications, ICT Committee of HEART/NSTA Trust, Wisynco Group Limited, and Digicel Jamaica.
In his new role as COO of EduFocal, Green will be responsible for enhancing the operational efficiency and productivity of the team. He will work closely with the CEO and other senior leaders to develop and implement effective strategies for driving business growth, improving operational outcomes, and increasing revenue and profitability.
He holds a Master’s degree in Economics with a focus on Economic Development and Monetary Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Statistics. Green is also a certified Scrum Master and Project Management Professional, bringing valuable expertise to EduFocal. We are thrilled to have Mark join our team and look forward to the positive impact he will have on our organization.
Board appointment at Carreras

Andres Lorenzo has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Carreras Limited with effect from April 24, 2023. Lorenzo is a seasoned finance professional with over 15 years of experience working with the British American Tobacco Group where he progressed through various and varied finance roles in multiple markets.
Lorenzo is currently the Finance Director for the LATAM North & Caribbean Area and has held prior roles in the US, UK, Chile and Argentinian markets. The company has welcomed Lorenzo to the Board and looks forward to his contributions.

138 Student Living (SL)and its subsidiary, 138 SL Restoration are pleased to announce that Donnette Scarlett and Mark Chisholm were appointed to the Boards of Directors. Their appointment took effective Wednesday May 3, 2023.
Fosrich board resignation

The Board of Directors of FosRich Company Limited has announced the resignation of Director, Rosalyn Campbell from the Board effective April 30, 2023.
Campbell has served on the board with distinction and dedication over these many years. The lighting and energy company has expressed its appreciation to Campbell for her contribution towards the company’s advancement.
Campbell will however remain as Chair of the FosRich Foundation.
Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority names new chairman

The Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority has named a new chairman of its board of directors.
The organization has announced the appointment of Vernon Jeffers Sr. to the role, succeeding Dr Lorraine Raeburn. Raeburn had served in the role from January 2018 to January 2023.
Jeffers, a past executive chairman of the Antigua and Barbuda Hotel and Tourism Association, is currently the managing partner of the Jewels Management and Consultancy.
