Two new Sagicor Group directors

Sagicor Group has advised of two new directors. They are Joanna Banks and Andre Mousseau.

Their appointments took effect on December 31, 2022. The company announced that director Lisa Lake resigned as at December 31, 2022.

Management changes at Barita

Barita Investments Limited has advised of the following senior management changes within the company:

• Terise Kettle has been promoted to the position of senior vice president, Investment Banking, effective October 1, 2022. Kettle previously held the post of vice president, Investment Banking.
• Sonia Owens has been promoted to the position of vice president, Treasury & Financial Institutions, effective October 1, 2022. Owens previously held the position of head, Treasury & Financial Institutions.
• Geoffery Romans has been promoted to the position of senior vice president, Risk Management, effective December 1, 2022. Romans previously held the post of head, Financial Risk-Frameworks & Administration.

Guardian Holdings appoints new director

Guardian Holdings advises that by a resolution of the Board of Directors on January 17, 2023, Dominic Rampersad was appointed a director with effect from January 20, 2023, in accordance with clause 7.10.2 of By Law No. 1 of the company.

Rampersad will hold office until the Annual General Meeting following this appointment at which time he will be eligible for re-appointment.

Ron Schindler appointed to Seprod Board

The Board of Directors of Seprod Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Ron Schindler to the Board, effective December 19, 2022. Schindler is a recently retired executive of Clover Leaf Seafoods Corp. & Bumble Bee Seafoods, entities known primarily for the Brunswick and Bumble Bee brands of products.

During his tenure, Schindler held numerous executive leadership positions in sales, marketing, operations, and senior management culminating with the role of President of Clover Leaf Seafoods Corp. The Seprod family welcomes Schindler to the Board and looks forward to his contribution.

LAB Audit Committee chairman resigns

Limners and Bards Limited (LAB) LAB has announced the resignation of Douglas Lindo, deputy chairman and chairman of the Audit Committee effective January 31, 2023. The company has further advised that Lindo’s resignation is in no way related to any disagreement with the company’s accounting policies.
