JSE gets new director

The Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) has advised that Sabrina Cooper has joined its board as a director, effective yesterday July 19, 2023.

The decision was taken at its board meeting held yesterday.

iCreate loses its Deputy CEO and COO

iCreate has announced the departure of its deputy chief executive officer and chief operating officer, Toni Cooke, effective June 30. She had been in the job for only four months, having been appointed on February 9.

Despite the short time in the post, iCreate said “She has been pivotal and instrumental in streamlining the operations of Visual Vibe Limited”. It said it was grateful for Cooke’s “invaluable contribution and the positive impact she has made on the company in a very short time”.

Cooke began her career at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in New York, and rose to the rank of vice president.

Sampars general manager resigns

Derrimon Trading Company Limited has advised that Craig Robinson resigned from the post of general manager for its Sampars subsidiary, effective July 7.

Derrimon thanked Robinson for his dedicated years of service and commitment to the company.

Lasco Financial Services searches for new director

The search is now on for a replacement for noted attorney R.N.A. Henriques on the board of Lasco Financial Services. Henriques died last Sunday having been ailing for some time.
