Kevin Donaldson joins Caribbean Assurance Brokers board

Caribbean Assurance Brokers is advising of the appointment of Kevin Donaldson to fill a casual vacancy on its board. He appointment was effective July 1, 2024 and he was re-elected a Director on July 24, 2024 at the company’s annual general meeting.

RJR announces new CFO

The management of Radio Jamaica Limited, the parent company in the RJRGLEANER Communications Group is advising that a new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) designate, Ms. Karla Stephens-Hall has been identified. Ms. Stephens-Hall started work at the media group on Monday, July 8, 2024. 

She joins Radio Jamaica from the Progressive Group, where she served as CFO for the past four years. Prior to that, she has held senior management roles at Massy Technologies, Cable and Wireless (now FLOW), Digicel and PwC. In the meantime, Mrs. Andrea Messam remains the CFO for the Group and during July and August the responsibilities of the role will be transitioned to Ms. Stephens-Hall.

Portland JSX Limited Directorate changes 

There have been two changes to the Board of Portland JSX. Doug Hewson has resigned from the Board effective July 12, 2024 while Ricardo Hutchinson has appointed a Director and Board Chairman. 

This appointment is also effective July 12.
