Corporate Movements | PBS, Mayberry, Sagicor and more make new appointments

In Corporate Movements this week, the board of Productive Business Solutions (PBS) Limited is advising that Nicholas Scott has been tapped to be its newest board director. His appointment was confirmed at a board meeting held on March 7.

CAB new recruit

Damion White has joined Caribbean Assurance Brokers (CAB) in the position of senior manager in its general insurance department. The appointment took effect on March 1.

Changes at One-on-One

One-on-One Educational Services has effected two changes at the board level.

Seasoned Jamaican accountant Atasha Bernard became a One-on-One director, following a board meeting held on February 29. Bernard was also appointed to the audit committee of the board, where she serves as chairperson. The board has also advised that Dr Carol Grantson-Corcho has resigned as chairperson of the audit committee. Grantson-Corcho will, however, continue to serve as a board member of the committee.

Two new independent directors at Mayberry

Mayberry Jamaica Equities has appointed Alok Jain and Janene Shaw as independent directors, effective February 23.

Shaw and Jain were both appointed to the audit and risk committee of the board and additionally, Jain was appointed to the corporate governance committee.

Board changes at Sagicor Real Estate X-Fund

Sagicor Real Estate X-Fund has appointed two new directors, namely John Bailey and Howard Mitchell as at March 1.

In the meantime, directors Vinay Walia and Carlton Barclay resigned effective February 29.

Passing of IronRock director

IronRock Insurance Company has advised of the passing of director Anthony Bell on March 4. Bell joined IronRock’s board in 2015 and was the company secretary and chairman of the audit and corporate governance committees.
