A California court has denied Kim Kardashian’s request to keep details of her reported $6 million settlement with Ray J sealed, potentially exposing terms of the dispute.

The decision, issued on March 30th, rejected arguments from Kardashian and her mother Kris Jenner that public disclosure would cause harm, with the judge saying their claims were too vague and unsupported.

While the court agreed to protect limited banking details, most of the settlement information is now no longer shielded from public view. The ruling comes amid ongoing legal battles between Kim, Jenner and Ray J, with both sides trading claims of defamation and breach of contract linked to past statements about the sex tape and related agreements. A hearing on arbitration is scheduled for April 24, which could determine the next step in the case.
