Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly marked his engagement to long-time partner Georgina Rodriguez in true superstar fashion by showering her with extravagant gifts worth more than a quarter of a million pounds.

The 39-year-old football icon is said to have proposed this week with a jaw-dropping diamond ring, estimated to be worth several million pounds, officially putting an end to years of speculation about the couple’s future.

Ronaldo and Rodriguez have been together for more than nine years and share a blended family of five children. Georgina is the biological mother of daughters Alana and Bella, and lovingly raises Cristiano Jr., as well as twins Mateo and Eva, as her own.

While the ring alone would have made headlines, Ronaldo didn’t stop there. Sources close to the couple say the Al-Nassr star followed up the proposal with a fleet of luxury gifts. Top of the list was a sleek white electric Porsche Taycan, valued at over £78,000. Knowing Georgina’s love for high fashion, he also splurged on designer pieces from Christian Dior and Louis Vuitton, including handbags and clothing, said to total more than £25,000. He also added two luxury watches to the mix: a £42,000 Patek Philippe and a £53,000 Audemars Piguet, pushing the total value of his post proposal presents well beyond £250,000.

“Cristiano had been planning this for a long time,” a source close to the couple shared. “He wanted to make the moment unforgettable for Georgina—to make it truly special for his special one.”

The insider also hinted that the couple is considering tying the knot after next year’s FIFA World Cup in North America, though no official date has been announced.
