Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly pushing Al-Nassr to go after Antonio Rudiger as the German defender edges toward the final months of his Real Madrid contract. Rudiger, whose deal expires in the summer of 2026, is free to negotiate with clubs outside Spain, and sources say Al-Nassr is preparing a serious offer.
Renewal talks in Madrid have stalled, and with Rudiger turning 33 in March, a move away at the end of the 2025-26 season looks increasingly likely. Several clubs with ambitious projects are tracking him, and Al-Nassr sees him as the perfect addition to strengthen their defence alongside stars like Ronaldo, Joao Felix, and Sadio Mane.
Ronaldo is reportedly lobbying hard for Rudiger to join him, believing the experienced player would add immediate quality to the squad. The Saudi club is ready to offer a central role and a lucrative contract, and the 40-year-old forward’s influence within the team has already shaped past transfer decisions.
While Rudiger remains focused on finishing the season with Real Madrid, the prospect of a move to Saudi Arabia is both tempting and financially attractive. Al-Nassr would give him a platform to continue competing at a high level while joining one of the region’s most ambitious projects, with Ronaldo’s presence a key factor in any decision.
