Cristiano Ronaldo is exploring pressotherapy treatment as he works to recover from a hamstring injury, with the World Cup just months away.
The injury occurred on February 28 when he was forced off during Al-Nassr’s 3-1 victory over Al-Fahya in the Saudi Pro League, and concerns remain over how serious it might be.
Ronaldo is currently in Madrid receiving treatment and recently shared a glimpse on Instagram of himself using a pressotherapy leg suit. The therapy uses rhythmic air pressure to massage the limbs, helping with swelling, aches, and circulation while promoting recovery.
Portugal have two friendlies lined up this month—one against Mexico on March 28 and the USA on March 31—but it is uncertain whether Ronaldo will be available.
Ronaldo is focused on being fit for the World Cup, where Portugal will face Colombia, Uzbekistan, and a yet to be determined opponent in Group K.
