Justin Timberlake is making it clear that he is not receptive to Britney Spears’ general apology avoiding the singer’s attempts to show remorse for the defaming contents of her 2023 memoir ‘The Woman In Me‘.

Spears wrote in a since deleted Instagram post on January 29,  “I wanna apologise… if I offended any of the people I genuinely care about I am deeply sorry,”

In the memoir, Spears wrote, “Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy.”

“He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young,” she wrote. Both were teenagers at the time and Spears underwent a medical abortion describing it as “one of the most agonizing things I have ever experienced in my life.”

This amongst allegations of Justin’s infidelity, sent the ‘Toxic‘ singer’s fans into a tizzy, resulting in Timberlake having to deactivate his Instagram comments temporarily.

Spears has since tried to show support to Timberlake after the released of his recent song in January 25 in an Instagram post, “I am in love with Justin Timberlake’s new song ‘Selfish’.

During a recent concert, Timberlake prefaced his 2002 hit song Cry Me a River, which was supposedly a song about her after their break-up by saying, “I’d like to take this opportunity to apologize  to absolutely f–king nobody.”

The ‘Suit and Tie‘crooner has not made any official statements this year on the matter, however.
