Curfew imposed in Grange Hill

A 48-hour curfew has been imposed in sections of the Westmoreland Policing Division.

The curfew will begun at 6:00 pm, on Wednesday, September 4 and will remain in effect until 6:00 pm, Friday, September 6.

The boundaries of the curfew are:

North: 3.03 km along an imaginary line from the Peggy Barry Primary School to the quarry in the Kings Valley community.

East: 4.35 km along an imaginary line from the Kings Valley community to the pump house at Bull Strode.

South: 3.67km South along an imaginary line from the pump house at Bull Strode to the cane interval within Fullersfield community.

West: 5.22km along an imaginary line from the cane interval within the Fullersfield community to the Peggy Barry Primary School.

During the hours of the curfew, all persons within its boundaries are required to remain within their premises, unless otherwise authorized by the ground commander.
