Curfew imposed in Waterford, Portmore

A 48-hour curfew has been imposed in the Waterford community following a deadly gun attack that left two dead and another person wounded on Sunday (May 28).

According to recent reports, the two deceased were both residents of the Waterford community and have been identified as 40-year-old Jason Ivy and 67-year-old Nicely Johnson.

The curfew began at 6 a.m on Monday and will continue until 6 p.m tomorrow.

The boundaries of the curfew include Caymanas Drive, Dike Road and Passagefort.

Persons within these boundaries are advised to remain in their premises unless otherwise advised in writing by the ground commander
