Leading connectivity and entertainment provider C&W Communications the operators of Flow, Flow Business, C&W Business and BTC will shine the spotlight on vulnerable and underserved communities at the annual fund-raising gala of the Cable & Wireless Charitable Foundation (CWCF) on November 1.

The Seafair Luxury Yacht in downtown Miami will set the backdrop as supporters, partners, and stakeholders celebrate and support the remarkable work of the CWCF in helping to connect and positively impact communities across the Caribbean.

“We established the CWCF in 2017 following the massive destruction brought by superstorms Hurricane Maria and Hurricane Irma. Since then, we’ve been dedicated to enabling progress and building more resilient communities across the region,” said Rosario Veras, executive director, CWCF.

“Our annual fundraiser is a celebration of hope, resilience, and our shared commitment to creating lasting change across the Caribbean. Every dollar raised helps us deliver critical disaster relief, expand access to education, and bridge the digital divide for communities in need. We are incredibly grateful for the support of our partners and attendees, whose generosity allows us to advance our purpose of connecting communities and changing lives. Together, we are making a difference and helping to build a more resilient and connected future for our communities,” added Veras.

The gala aims to raise vital funds to further CWCF’s commitment to Disaster Relief, Education, and Digital Inclusion, all of which are critical to fostering sustainable growth and positive change throughout the region.

Attendees will enjoy an evening of live entertainment, fine dining, and inspiring stories of how the CWCF is connecting communities and changing lives. The funds raised will directly contribute to impactful community projects, from supporting disaster-stricken areas to empowering future generations through education and digital access.

Since its inception, the CWCF has made tremendous strides in delivering assistance where it is needed most. From rebuilding schools after hurricanes to launching digital initiatives that provide underserved populations with greater access to technology, the foundation continues to be a beacon of hope for the Caribbean.
