CXC to release student exam results on Friday

After months of waiting, Caribbean students will finally be able to access their exam results for the Caribbean Examinations Council June-July 2021 exam sitting, online on Friday (October 15).

The online release to students on Friday will follow the council’s official release of its exam results at a ceremony to be held in Guyana on Thursday (October 14).

According to a release from CXC, the annual results ceremony will be held at the Arthur Chung Conference Centre in East Coast Demerara and will begin at 9:00 am (AST) or 8:00 am in Jamaica.

The event will see a feature address from Guyana’s Minister of Education, Dr Priya Manickhand, in addition to remarks from Registrar and CEO of CXC, Dr Wayne Wesley and Chief Education Officer, Dr Marcel Hutson.

A report on this year’s administration of the council’s examinations is to be given by Dr Nicole Manning, director of operations – examinations services division.

The event will be streamed live online at cxc.org/cxctv, on Guyana’s Ministry of Education website – https://education.gov.gy, their YouTube channel and Facebook page as well via the website of the Guyana Department of Public Information – https://dpi.gov.gy.

The regional examinations commenced on June 28, following an initial postponement to provide more preparation time for candidates and were completed on July 30.
