Reggae/dancehall crooner D Major is showing love to his fans in Kenya after news reached him that his song, She Nah Give It Away now sits atop the Vybez Radio Top 40 charts in that African state.
The song, produced by Kabaka Pyramid’s Bebble Rock Music label, topped Gunman Shift by Skeng, Natural High by Medisun and Kabaka Pyramid, Curfew by Ding Dong and B@#ty Rider Shorts by Lila Ike.
D Major was overjoyed by the news coming out of the country where he often tours with Christopher Martin.
“Having a number one song, this is what you strive for. To have a number one song in another country, a distant land that is such a huge territory like Kenya; oh gosh, man,” he told Our Today.
The people of Kenya, he said, have always supported his music and this latest milestone is yet another example of the love they have for it.

“They have just taken on to the music and love my music. They are a big support system to D Major’s music and career and it continues and this is just a testament to that. We get lots of love from that side all the time, messages, emails, comments, posts, but to see it in black and white, it’s gratifying.”
The singer has enjoyed tremendous success over the years in Africa and especially Kenya where songs like Real Know Real, Girl of My Dreams, That’s What Love Is About, Naked, No More Distance featuring Busy Signal and Let Her Go have found an enthusiastic audience.
Completing the Top 10 on the Vybez Radio Top 40 Chart are Freedom Fighter by Chronixx, Born Fi Survive by Busy Signal, You Will Never Find by Chris Martin, Fill It Up by Fari The Future, and Run Run by Shenseea.
