Jamaica Fire Brigade investigators say it will take some time to calculate the extent of damage after two buses under repair were engulfed in flames at a garage off Washington Boulevard last evening (February 17).
District officer Garfield McLaughlin told Our Today that two units responded to calls of a blaze raging at 14 Davidson Avenue in St Andrew around 5:38 pm.
What was initially believed to be a house on fire turned out to be a garage with two buses, which was quickly brought under control.
There were no deaths or injuries associated with the fire.

According to the garage operater, an gas pump installation quickly turned sour after one of the vehicles caught fire.
