Dancehall artiste Valiant cooperating with police after accident involving Dr Christopher Tufton

The management team of dancehall artiste Raheem Bowes, more popularly known as Valiant, has announced that the entertainer is cooperating with police as they investigate the incident on Sunday, June 2, involving Health Minister Dr. Christopher Tufton.

Tufton was struck by a vehicle driven by Valiant while cycling on Charlemont Avenue in St. Andrew. The health minister sustained injuries to his wrist and knee and was taken to the University Hospital of the West Indies (UHWI) by Valiant for medical assistance.

Tufton is currently recovering after undergoing wrist surgery.

“Valiant promptly reported the incident to the police, and an investigation into the matter has been initiated. We are cooperating fully with the authorities and will provide any necessary assistance during the investigation,” stated the Dunce Cheque singer’s team in a statement on Monday, June 3.

They also encouraged individuals to prioritize safety and exercise caution while navigating the roads.
