Dancehall style and sound take centre stage at Wray Rum’s Bashment: Night Time Edition

Dancehall’s breakout voice Skippa leaned into the crowd’s energy for a “WYFL” moment at Wray & Nephew Bashment last Friday, March 13, 2026, delivering high-octane vocals that had patrons dancing and deejaying along well into the night.

The intersection of dancehall style and sound came alive at the Wray Rum-sponsored Bashment: Night Time Edition, as partygoers turned out at Sabina Park in full force on Friday, March 13. 

The high-octane event also doubled as a birthday celebration for Billboard-charting producer and Wray & Nephew brand ambassador DJ Mac and prominent podcast personality and social media voice Jaii Frais.

Bashment attracted some of dancehall’s stylish personalities and delivered a night celebrating the culture with old and new hits, enticing mixes on stage and at the bar, vibrant performances and a few surprise moments.

Among the highlights, dancehall’s breakout voice and the headliner Skippa made a statement with his signature currency throw, much to the delight of fans at the front of the stage.
