The Jamaica Table Tennis Association (JTTA) announces the appointment of Daryll Sutherland as director of marketing, a strategic step in advancing the organisation’s growth, strengthening its brand, and increasing the visibility of table tennis in Jamaica and internationally.
Sutherland brings experience from both local and international brands, including Bath & Body Works, Nike, Vistaprint, Physiotec, and Dunbeholden Football Club. His background spans brand strategy, digital engagement, and community outreach, equipping him to lead initiatives that connect with fans, athletes, and partners across multiple platforms.
In his new role, Sutherland will support JTTA’s mission to grow table tennis from a competitive sport into a wider cultural and community experience. His work will contribute to expanding partnerships and strategies and promoting the sport’s development across Jamaica.
Aubyn Henry, chief strategy and development officer, gave his nod of approval to the appointment, noting that Sutherland will no doubt add quality to the Association.

“Daryll brings a practical, strategic perspective to marketing. His leadership will help strengthen JTTA’s brand and advance our initiatives locally and internationally,” he said.
The JTTA continues to focus on innovation, growth, and engagement, with this appointment reflecting the Association’s commitment to building a strong foundation for the future of table tennis in Jamaica.
