Dancehall artiste Deno Crazy set out to spread joy beyond the stage, making this holiday an unforgettable one for a group of windshield wipers who were treated to a J$150,000 shopping spree.
In a YouTube video posted on his account on Sunday, the artiste shared that a few weeks ago he had a chance encounter with a group of windshield wipers at the stoplight on Waterloo Road, St Andrew, who were supporters of his work.
Struck by the strong support and outpour of love and appreciation for his craft, the artiste said he could not shake off the idea of giving back to these young men. So, he did just that, surprising them with an experience they will never forget.
“Today is just one of dem days deh weh mek me very happy fi share back the love, share back everything weh mi go through and share back to mi people weh really put me pon a level weh mi can do this for unno,” the Polo Fi Days artiste said in his vlog.

In the video, Deno returned to the same stoplight at Waterloo Road, where he met the young men, hoping they would be there. Luckily, Christmas magic was on his side, and as he approached the familiar stoplight, his car was flocked by the same youths he met earlier, who joyfully sang his 2022 hit collab with 450, Thunda. But little did they know what was about to happen.
After their interaction, the artiste drove off, promising to return with something special for his supporters. He shortly returned and loaded the young men in a vehicle that was stationed at the Fontana Pharmacy on Waterloo Road, ready to take the men to their surprise destination.
The group was transported to Fierce by Dre, a renowned clothing store in Kingston, where they were encouraged by Deno Crazy to pick out whatever they liked. Excitement and joy filled the room as the young men racked up a J$150,000 bill that was covered by the artiste.
Deno Crazy shared that the shopping spree was more than a financial gift, it was a gesture of appreciation for the windshield wipers’ continued support that has positioned him to give back.
His act of kindness was applauded by members of the entertainment industry and supporters on social media, who commended him for his gesture.
“Powerful my bro,” commented 450.
“Blessing to you my g,” said producer Jahvy Ambassador.
“What’s big about this is that you take them to a shop where you also shop,” the account for Fierce by Dre commented.
“Yo mi never comment pon a post before but bless up youth mad respect ghetto youths advocate,” an Instagram user commented.
