Marcus Steele has been appointed a new board member and chairman of the audit committee of Dequity Capital Management Limited

In a release Dequity Chairman Dr Damien King, welcomed Steele to join the current directors – Kadeen Mairs, Kerry Spencer Young, Garold Hamilton, Lisa Gomes and Dr Germain Spencer.

Steele is a seasoned professional with more than 25 years of experience in finance and general management.

Dequity noted that he has a proven track record of providing strategic and business leadership to multi-billion-dollar private sector entities, resulting in substantial improvements in shareholder and market value.

“Throughout his career, he has been a change-agent who has successfully driven innovation, ideation, and problem-solving to foster growth and create sustainable businesses,” the Dequity statement read.

“He is an expert in brand building, consumer engagement, and effective value-chain management.”
