Former model Crystal McKinney, winner of MTV‘s ‘Mission Model 1998’ contest, has filed a lawsuit against American rap mogul Diddy, who she claimed drugged then sexually assaulted her
In her suit against the embattled industry giant, McKinney said that Diddy sexually assaulted her in 2003, when she was 22.
McKinney says the rap mogul invited her back to his studio after Men’s Fashion Week in New York where men were gathered smoking marijuana and drinking Hennessy.
After nearly passing out from smoking a joint, she maintains that Diddy took her to the bathroom and attempted to make her perform a sexual act which she refused.
She says she walked away but woke up in the back of a taxi and discovered she was sexually assaulted.
She is seeking unspecified damages.
After this incident, McKinney said her modelling career never took off, which plunged her into a depression before she attempted to commit suicide a year after the alleged assault.
The suit comes fresh on the heels of last week’s damning Cassie assault video released by CNN, where Diddy was recorded in a Los Angeles hotel lobby hitting and kicking his then-girlfriend in 2016.
