The Jamaica Auto Show 2025 had all the ingredients of a standout weekend.

However, Digicel added a bold new layer built on connectivity, cutting-edge technology and the promise of always being in touch, no matter where the road leads.

Held at the National Arena and the National Indoor Sports Complex on May 10-11, the event drew thousands from auto enthusiasts to tech-savvy consumers.

While many came to view the latest in automotive design and engineering, Digicel’s engagement-driven display ensured that connectivity remained part of the conversation.

“We’re not just a telecommunications provider, we’re lifestyle partners. This means we are an essential part of people’s lives,” said Nicholette McFarlane, head of marketing at Digicel.

One of the major highlights of Digicel’s booth was the demonstration of its newly enhanced LTE network, delivering speeds of up to 600Mbps. Positioned not merely as a promotional feature, the upgraded service underscored the critical role of fast, reliable data in modern mobility, from powering in-vehicle GPS and infotainment systems to enabling real-time social media sharing on the go.

“Our mission has always been to power moments that matter, and the Auto Show offered a powerful platform to do just that. Whether you’re behind the wheel or at home with loved ones, staying connected has never been more essential, and, with Digicel, it’s seamless,” added McFarlane.

Brithney Clarke, marketing business lead, added, “The Jamaica Auto Show was a phenomenal celebration of lifestyle, connection, and community. In honour of Mother’s Day weekend, our customers enjoyed exclusive deals and heartfelt surprises as we created a space where staying connected wasn’t just about devices and data plans—it was about celebrating the people who matter most.”

Beyond promotions, Digicel’s booth featured a VR gaming experience tailored to the automotive theme of the show, an interactive addition that drew steady interest from patrons of all ages. It was one element of a broader strategy to create a space where technology and lifestyle could intersect in a tangible way.
