Telecoms giant Digicel is celebrating a major milestone this summer as Jamaica’s longest-running talent show, Digicel Rising Stars marks its 20th season this year.

With two decades of discovering and nurturing Jamaica’s musical talent under its belt, Digicel Rising Stars has been a staple platform for aspiring artistes to transform their musical dreams into reality while making significant contributions to Jamaica’s entertainment industry.

Over the past 20 years, the competition has shaped the careers of memorable musicians such as Christopher Martin and Romain Virgo, who have become legends in their own right. These artistes exemplify the show’s success in fostering local talent and contributing to the growth and global recognition of Jamaican reggae music.

To commemorate this special anniversary, Digicel is giving back to its loyal customers with an exclusive offer. During the live shows, Digicel will launch its ’20 for 20′ cash prize where 20 prepaid and 20 postpaid customers will each have the chance to win J$20,000 in cash. Digicel says the promotion is its way of thanking its customers for their continuous support and engagement over the years.
