Most companies celebrate milestone anniversaries with galas, awards, or corporate dinners.

Digita Global Marketing (DGM) is taking a path aligned with the company’s genesis.

To commemorate its tenth anniversary, the Jamaican-born marketing and technology agency is taking a dual approach. It is launching an immersive digital experience that allows visitors to travel through the company’s evolution, from a startup built on little more than a vision and J$45,000, to one of Jamaica’s leading integrated marketing and technology agencies. Secondly, DGM has earmarked several CSR activities geared towards further advancing digital transformation on the island, both through donations and technical support, which commenced with activities undertaken after Hurricane Melissa to aid in recovery efforts, in which it contributed over J$250,000.00 to various initiatives.

The interactive platform, The Journey, serves as a living digital archive, documenting a decade of milestones, setbacks, innovations and defining moments that transformed a small social media marketing operation into a full-service 360-degree agency delivering marketing, technology, content, strategy, production, coworking and digital transformation solutions across the Caribbean.

“Over the past decade, we’ve helped countless organisations solve their challenges and tell their stories,” said Founder and CEO Kemal Brown. “For our tenth anniversary, we wanted to turn the lens inward and tell our own story in the most authentic way we know how, through a digital experience.”

Visitors navigate the website through an immersive timeline that unfolds year by year, allowing them to ‘surf’ through the company’s memories as it grows from its earliest days operating with limited resources to building an ecosystem of businesses, launching award-winning campaigns, expanding services, embracing emerging technologies and helping shape Jamaica’s digital economy.

The experience opens with a cinematic introduction featuring a spiral of cascading three-dimensional visual tiles that map the company’s journey, then invites visitors into the full interactive timeline.

Over the past ten years, DGM has partnered with many of Jamaica’s and the Caribbean’s most recognised organisations across tourism, finance, telecommunications, government, healthcare, retail, real estate, professional services and more.

Its client portfolio includes Chukka Caribbean, Sygnus Group, LASCO Financial, Sagicor, GraceKennedy, Digicel, Mailpac, Norbrook, Tropical Battery, Mastercard, Express Fitness, NCB, the Jamaica Information Service (JIS), Lasco Financial Group, the National Health Fund (NHF), the Development Bank of Jamaica (DBJ), PICA, JSEZA and EXIM Bank, among many others. Across these partnerships, the agency has supported digital marketing, technology, creative production, strategic communications and brand storytelling initiatives while helping organisations navigate an increasingly digital-first economy.

“I’m beyond grateful to every client, partner, every team member, past and present, every supporter who believed in this firm and what it represents. It takes many hands to realise a vision,” said Brown.

Over the decade, the company has produced thousands of creative assets, executed campaigns reaching millions of consumers, delivered digital platforms and technology solutions, created more than 300 workforce opportunities, supported various charitable causes, and helped organisations modernise how they market, communicate and operate.

The anniversary project also reflects a philosophy that has shaped DGM since its inception: that every organisation has a story worth preserving. The Journey captures the people behind the company through testimonials from team members, board directors, clients, partners and supporters whose perspectives helped shape its evolution.

Innovation has long defined the organisation’s approach. Years before remote work became commonplace, DGM pioneered digital-first operating models, becoming one of Jamaica’s early adopters of distributed work environments and producing one of the country’s first comprehensive work-from-home implementation guides.

“In many ways, we’ve been building a digital company for the last ten years,” Brown said. “Celebrating our anniversary through technology isn’t just fitting, it’s who we are.”

While the platform celebrates the past, it is equally focused on the future. It stands as a reminder that every successful business begins with uncertainty, persistence and an idea that, through grit, becomes reality.

As it enters its second decade, DGM says its focus remains on innovation, growth and expansion. It’s doubling down on its mission of helping organisations navigate an increasingly digital economy. It is also keen on making acquisitions to expand its ‘fingerprint’ throughout the Caribbean and the USA, with its recent incorporation of DGM USA, a vehicle it intends to use to deliver innovation and marketing solutions across the Americas.

Through The Journey, the company hopes to preserve the story of its first ten years while inspiring the next chapter of Caribbean entrepreneurship and digital transformation.
