Novak Djokovic turned the Australian Open into his own show, storming past Spain’s Pedro Martinez in straight sets to notch his 100th victory at the tournament.
The world number four, chasing a record-breaking 25th Grand Slam singles title, barely broke a sweat, dropping just five points on his serve out of 57.
Djokovic was a wall on the court, holding serve eight times without conceding a single point, and losing only one point in both the second and third sets.
With a first serve success rate of 77% and winning 93% of points behind it, Djokovic was untouchable. The 38-year-old sealed the match with his 14th ace of the night, cruising to a 6-3, 6-2, 6-2 victory.
