Expressions of Interest being invited from destination marketing companies

Dominica is seeking tourism representative services in America and is inviting destination marketing companies to submit  Expressions of Interest, as the National Tourist Office of Dominica for the United States.

The Discover Dominica Authority (DDA), which is handling the process says the representative services will include but not be confined to activities such as consumer marketing, consumer promotions, public relations and travel trade promotions, which are designed to increase tourist travel from the United States to Dominica.

Shortlisted firms will receive an invitation and Request for Proposal (RFP) from the DDA to take part in a Competitive Selection Process for the contract to provide these representative services in the United States for an initial three-year period.

The DDA will be allocating a budget of some US$ 750,000 + annually (to be confirmed) for these representative services in the US market. Expressions of Interest should be submitted to Mr. Colin Piper, CEO/Director of Tourism, Discover Dominica Authority at [email protected] and copy Daphne Vidal at [email protected] no later than October 11, 2021.

Expressions of Interest, which should be no more than five pages should give an overview of services offered; number of employees, description of team, years in business, demonstrated capabilities and understanding of travel and tourism; etc.

In addition, show destination marketing capabilities and experience in the US and other major sources markets, knowledge of Dominica and Caribbean tourism market, including relevant assignments and experience with destinations, tourism and rebuilding during the COVID pandemic.

Grenada inviting RFP for Marketing Promotions for the DACH region in Europe

The Grenada Tourism Authority (GTA) is looking for an experienced agency to promote and market Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique in the DACH region, in conjunction with the GTA sales and marketing teams.

The agency should have a strong media relations arm and experience implementing and executing destination marketing strategies to accomplish the Tourism Authority’s objectives of developing and implementing transformational sales, marketing and public relations strategies.

Any agency with previous experience working in Grenada and/or the Caribbean will be favourably considered.
