
Downtown Kingston will serve as the perfect backdrop as the Kingston Creative Artwalk Festival returns next Sunday (September 28).
This month’s event will see the fourth edition of SAINT International’s Downtown Kingston Model search, a partnership with Kingston Creative to expose new talent from the communities. The highlight of the day will be a performance by Jahmiel and the SAINT runway show, featuring local designers including Marsha-Rae McBean, Nadine Thompson, Marcia Adams, and Howard Janseen Graham.
The line up includes DJ Fenix, DJ Richie Sax & Mystic, with mural and walking tours, a hop-on hop-off bus Tours that stops at popular downtown landmarks. GWM Motors is offering paint & sip sessions, and there will be over 80 artisans offering hand made Jamaican products in the ‘Artwalk Village’. Foodies and fashionistas can look forward to an avant-garde costume competition judged by AnnaIXE, and an array of food tastings from local chefs and vendors, including live cocktails demos by Dr. Spirit and a ‘Beer Garden’ hosted by Red Stripe Flavours.
The event is supported by the Tourism Enhancement Fund (TEF), Development Bank of Jamaica (DBJ), Great Wall Motors, Catherine’s Peak, the Kingston and St Andrew Municipal Corporation (KSAMC) and Jamaica Tourist Board.

By showcasing avant-garde fashion alongside our rich artistic heritage, we’re positioning Kingston as a cutting-edge creative destination that honors tradition while embracing innovation,” said Donovan White, Director of Tourism at the Jamaica Tourist Board.
The Kingston Creative Artwalk Festival has become a flagship event for downtown Kingston, bringing together thousands of patrons each month to experience cultural and creative industries in a family-friendly environment.
Secure parking is available at Myers Fletcher Gordon and Great Wall Motors/Stewarts will provide shuttle services throughout the day. The National Gallery of Jamaica also debuts its newest exhibition ‘One Nation, New Symbols’ at 1:30 pm, and ROK Hotel hosts its poolside afterparty, adding to the excitement in downtown.

Creative Entrepreneurs will be out in full force at the Kingston Creative Entrepreneur Demo Day which highlights female entrepreneurs from the DBJ FAME incubator programme and businesses from the Creative Caribbean Go Global programme supported by UNESCO and the University of the West Indies (UWI).
