The People’s National Party (PNP) is today (June 8) announcing the appointment of Dr Andre Haughton as shadow minister for Commerce, Technology, and Innovation.

This appointment was made by Opposition Leader Mark Golding, as part of the party’s ongoing commitment to promoting economic growth, technological advancement, and innovation in Jamaica.

The organisation, in a statement, indicated that Haughton has been Member of Parliament caretaker for the constituency of West Central St James since January 2019 and has also served as a senator in the Upper House of Representatives.
