Draymond Green isn’t letting trade rumours rattle him.

After the Warriors’ 113-94 loss to the 76ers on Tuesday, the four-time NBA champion spoke openly about speculation he could be traded before Thursday’s deadline.

Having spent over 13 years with Golden State, longer than almost anyone else in the league, Green says he’s grateful for the journey, not bitter about a possible move. He understands basketball is a business and accepts that if the team decides to trade him, it’s part of the game.

The 35-year-old veteran even joked that if someone had offered him this long-term run when he first entered the league, he would have signed in a heartbeat. Trade talks, including rumours linking him to a deal involving Giannis Antetokounmpo, aren’t keeping him up at night.

Reflecting on his time in the Bay, Green called it an incredible ride, highlighting his 2017 NBA Defensive Player of the Year honour and nine All-Defensive team selections.
