
Prominent entertainment and hospitality agency, Dream Entertainment, has appointed three new independent directors to its board.
They accomplished attorney-at-law Rochelle Cameron, businessman Michael Ammar Jnr. and seasoned finance executive Vernon James.
Cameron has over 20 years of experience as an attorney and has held key roles at C&W Communications, contributing significantly to telecommunications legislative reforms.
She also led human resources and public relations at Jamaica Broilers.
Currently, she is the founder and CEO of Prescient Consulting Service, providing legal, people and communications strategy support. Ammar Jnr. is the principal of the Ammars retail chain, possessing extensive experience in managing a successful business.
He has served as president of the Jamaica Chamber of Commerce (JCC).
James honed his experience in portfolio management and development during his eight-year leadership at NCB Insurance Company. Before joining NCB in 2008, he managed investments and securities trading at Scotia Jamaica Investments. With these three additions, the board now comprises eight members.
The other five directors are Kamal Bankay; group executive chairman Scott Dunn; group managing director Ryan Reid; Sean Shelton; and Solomon Sharp.
