Global media company, Forbes Magazine, on May 5, listed Dream Weekend as one of the top festivals in Jamaica.

Well known for its lists and rankings, wealthiest celebrities, the world’s top companies, 30 Under 30, and more, Forbes Magazine says that Jamaica is the perfect destination to enjoy a festival.

The magazine says that Dream Weekend provides an experience of non-stop partying in the tourist destination of the 7-mile beach in Negril.

The Dream Entertainment team is ecstatic to learn about this achievement, as it solidifies the event’s status on the Jamaican entertainment scene.

“This is a significant accolade for us here at Dream and is most welcomed. It is a testament to the hard work we put in year after year, to ensure patrons have a wholesome and memorable experience. We are thrilled and humbled, and remain committed to providing our patrons with the most impressive Dream experience possible” expressed Scott Dunn, managing director of Dream Entertainment.

As the Caribbean’s largest party experience, Dream Weekend offers five days of non-stop entertainment featuring several top local artistes, and a mix of the best local and international disc jocks (DJs). Dancehall remains at the forefront of all events while including elements of pop, house, hip hop, rap, and soca genres.

Forbes Magazine also described Jamaica as the birthplace of reggae music, with various festivals that will ‘whet every type of appetite’. It alluded to the fact that the island is flocked all throughout the year by visitors, for our ‘sparkling blue waters, incredible mountainous terrain, and warm, fun-loving culture.’

Kamal Bankay, chairman of Dream Entertainment, affirmed that, “This is a phenomenal achievement for Dream and the entire Jamaican community. The setbacks faced during the pandemic pushed us to be bullish in our operations as things returned to normal. Our patrons deserve the very best experience, and we continuously strive to up the ante with each event staging.”

The 2023 staging promises to be one for the books, noting that there will no longer be a general section, allowing all consumers to be able to experience the Dream VIP treatment. Dubbed as the weekend that never sleeps, with eight parties in five consecutive days, patrons will be able to immerse themselves in the all-inclusive events, while all international patrons will have access to Club MoBay’s VIP arrival service at the Sangster International Airport, free shuttle service in Negril for all and expedited, secure access to all events.

This year, Campari remains our title sponsor, so we want to express immense gratitude to them and all the other sponsors who are working tirelessly to ensure another successful staging.

“Dream Weekend would not have had its successes without the sponsors. This year, Campari remains our title sponsor, so we want to express immense gratitude to them and all the other sponsors who are working tirelessly to ensure another successful staging of the Caribbean’s Largest VIP Party Experience,” said Dunn.

Dream Weekend 2023 will be held from July 28- Aug 1, 2023 in Negril, Jamaica, and will feature live performances from Shenseea, Valiant, Stalk Ashley, Skeng, and much more. The organizers encourage all partygoers to pull up to ‘The Weekend that never sleeps’ where everyone is a VIP.
