Locals and visitors to Jamaica can now look forward to a new product offering at the Ocho Rios-based Dunn’s River Falls & Park.

The newest product offering is known as “Tek-A-Hike” and offers a mixture of ecological tourism, health and wellness, and cultural heritage.

Developed by the Urban Development Corporation (UDC), “Tek-A-Hike” is a guided, one-hour-and-a-half hike that starts at the Tranquility Gardens and ends in the Dunn’s River Falls & Park Nursery.

According to Dena Chatrie, business development director at UDC, the hike is approximately two miles and is an experience that the entire family can enjoy.

She added that guests will also get a chance to visit the Belmont Great House ruins and learn about its rich history.

Tek-A-Hike will be offered on Saturdays and Sundays with tours starting at 9 am, 11:30 am and 2 pm.

Persons who wish to experience Tek-A-Hike are encouraged to book ahead by visiting the website at www.dunnsriverfallsja.com.
