Registration is now open for short courses at the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts.
The institution has announced that its School of Continuing Education and Allied Programmes (SCEAP) will reopen for the new semester, beginning Monday (January 27).
The school offers a range of programmes designed to help individuals hone their artistic abilities throughout their lives, with the aim being to inspire creativity, cultivate new skills, and refine existing talents for people of all ages.
Classes are available for children and teenagers (ages four–12 and 13–18). For this age group, the focus is on helping young participants unlock their creative potential through the SCEAP Junior Academy.

These visual and performing arts programmes aim to nurture and develop artistic abilities over time, with the hope that students will matriculate to the college at ages 18–19 and then graduate as professional artists and arts managers.
For individuals aged 18 and above, SCEAP’s Adult Academy offers a wealth of opportunities for aspiring artists, performers, and creative professionals. Programmes for adults include drama, diverse dance styles, music lessons in voice or a chosen instrument, and visual arts disciplines such as ceramics, photography, jewellery design, and animation.
Additionally, courses are available in arts management and humanities. These programmes enable participants to develop new skills, pursue their passions, and expand their career opportunities.

The new semester at the School of Continuing Education offers interested persons a chance to realise their potential in a supportive and enriching learning environment.
