Education Minister expresses concern for missing teacher Dannielle Anglin

Minister of Education and Youth Fayval Williams has expressed concern following reports that a teacher of the St Peter Claver Primary School has been missing since Monday, May 13.

“The Minister of Education & Youth notes, with grave concerns, information that a teacher from St. Peter Claver Primary School has been reported missing. We appeal to anyone who has any information to contact the police. We pray for the teacher’s safe return,” Williams said in a tweet on X.com, formerly Twitter, on Thursday.

Leighton Johnson, president of the Jamaica Teachers Association (JTA), also expressed concerns following news of the teacher’s disappearance and is urging persons with information on her whereabouts to contact the police.

Dannielle Anglin

Twenty-nine-year-old Dannielle Anglin, a teacher of a Hellshire Park address in St Catherine, has been reported missing since Monday.

She has a dark complexion, slim build and about 167 centimetres (5 feet 6 inches) tall.

Reports from the Hellshire Police are that Anglin was last seen at home about 5:50 am. Her mode of dress at the time she went missing is unknown. All efforts to contact her have been futile.

The police are urging individuals who may know the whereabouts of Dannielle Anglin to contact the Hellshire Police Station at 876-952-3572, 119 police emergency number or the nearest police station.
